Enhance Your Breasts without Surgery
Many women choose to undergo breast augmentation surgery to enhance the look of their breasts, but surgery is expensive and not without complications. If you’d rather skip the surgery and firm your breasts naturally, there’s good news. There are several ways you can enhance the look of your breasts without surgery.
Wearing the right size and type of bra is vital for making breasts look great. Many women wear the wrong size bra unintentionally. If you’re not sure what size you wear, get professionally fitted. Even if you think your bra is the right size, it wouldn’t hurt to get a professional opinion. There’s more than cup size to consider when choosing a bra.
The style of bra you wear also plays a huge role in your overall look. Push-up bras, padded bras and half-cup bras make smaller breasts look larger and plumper. On the other hand, they make large breasts look misshapen. Large breasts require optimal support such as that given by a full-cup bra, sports bra, underwire bra or size minimizing bra.
Exercise to Tone Your Breasts
Your breasts are made up of fat, mammary glands and connective tissues. So, you can’t firm them up like you can your biceps. However, you can firm and plump your pectoral muscles – chest muscles – which support your breasts. If you give your breasts a firm foundation to sit on, they will appear fuller and firmer.
Following are some great exercises that you can do to firm up your breasts:
- Bench Press – Lay down face up on a weight bench with a barbell. Lift the barbell out of the supports and hold directly over your chest. Lower the barbell slowly until it touches your chest. Push it back up slowly. Repeat 10 to 12 times.
- Butterfly Press – Using a butterfly machine or a set of dumbbells and a weight bench, bring the weights close together above your chest. Open your arms wide until they are parallel with the floor. Raise and close your arms. Do 10 to 12 reps for this one also.
- Incline Push Ups – You can do these against a wall or kitchen counter. They’re the same as push ups, but you don’t have to go down as far. Generally, they are easier to do than traditional push ups.
Exercise will give you a firm foundation, but you also have to take care of your body in other ways. In addition to strength training three times a week, eat a healthy and balanced diet. Drink plenty of water. Studies show that vitamin C helps improve elasticity – the ability to stretch and bounce back – in connective tissues, so a daily dose of vitamin C might help.
Massaging your breasts daily helps improve circulation and tone. Massage also helps your body absorb fat cells, which will prove helpful if you’re trying to lose weight. Massage daily for 15 minutes or so using a moisturizer or breast-firming cream such as Brestrogen. You can also use anti-aging moisturizer to plump skin.
In addition to these tips, you should also select clothing that compliments your breast size. Too tight shirts do not look good on women with big or small breasts. If you have small breasts, choose boldly colored tops with prints that draw the eye to the chest. Long necklaces and scarves also make small breasts appear larger. For large breasts, wear single-colored shirts in a dark hue such as navy or black. Avoid plunging necklines and tops that show too much cleavage. Opt for high necklines as they elongate your trunk, making your breasts appear smaller.
